Description

Metal saddle racks weren't designed with your saddle in mind. The bars press into the panels, leaving dents in leather and wool and permanent distortions in foam panels. Whether the rack is a folding rack, permanent mounted, collapsible, metal and leather don't mix. Storing on a metal rack leads to panel damage and a saddle that places uneven pressue lines on your horses back, which can hurt your horse. With panel replacement running $900 to $2,000+ depending on the brand, the Saddle Shield is a cost-effective way to protect the longevity of your saddle and your horse's back. The shield is shaped like a horses back to support the panels evenly. Made from durable plastic that won't warp or rust. A felt lining wicks away the heat and moisture left behind after a ride, protecting your flocking and your leather. The multi-position mounting bracket adjusts to match your wall depth. Your saddle can also be protected from touching your walls by placing the bracket at depths away from the wall so your leather never comes in contact with the wall. No scratches from storage! Mount it in the tack room for daily storage, or pull it off the wall and bring it to the aisle when you're tacking up. One saddle per rack. Built to last, built to protect what your saddle is supposed to protect, your horse's back. Patent pending, saddle pictured not included.
